Mumbai: A diehard fan of Salman Khan will be eagerly looking forward to see him in his Robinhood avatar once again. As the adorable Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg and Dabangg 2, Salman had made a million hearts skip a beat. His antics were cute and simply unparalleled. But is Dabangg 3 on the anvil? Wondering when will the third instalment of the blockbuster franchise go on floors? Here are the answers.
Salman’s Dabangg 3 is expected to go on floors in March next year, latest buzz suggests. According to an online entertainment portal, Arbaaz Khan will act in the film but will not be directing it. Arbaaz, who had helmed the second instalment, will now focus on playing the popular character Makkhanchand Pandey.
And the big news is that Dabangg 3 will be directed by Prabhudheva, Salman’s Wanted filmmaker, reports suggest. Salman’s career hit the purple patch with the choreographer-turned-filmmaker’s 2009 Eid release and since then there’s been no looking back. After Wanted, Salman has had a string of blockbusters to his credit and the list includes – Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ready, Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan.
The film will have Sonakshi Sinha again as Salman’s love interest and we can’t wait to see them as a couple on screen!
Dabangg, directed by Abhinav Kashyap released on September 10, 2010. It turned out to be a massive hit. Dabangg 2 did pretty well too. It hit the silverscreen on December 21, 2012. And if the latest speculations are anything to go by, Dabangg 3 is slated to release on Eid in 2019.
Meanwhile, Salman will be busy with Race 3 which will release on Eid next year. And at the moment, the hunk of a superstar is gearing up to make a splash on the silverscreen with Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai on December 22.
